  • National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care (NQF)
    The NQF for Early Childhood Education and Care applies to most long day care, family day care, preschool and kindergarten, and outside schools hours care services. The Framework is a national approach to the regulation and quality assessment of early childhood education and care services.
  • Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
    The EYLF is designed to extend and enrich children's learning from birth to five. The Framework supports and provides guidance for educators working with children in all early childhood education and care settings.
  • National Quality Standards (NQS)
    The NQS is a key aspect of the NQF and sets a national benchmark for early childhood education and care, and outside school hours care services in Australia.
  • My time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care (MTOP)
    MTOP supports the ongoing development of children in school age care services. It ensures that they have opportunities to participate in leisure and play-based activities that are responsive to their needs, interests, and choices.
